What’s included in the fee

We will follow up May 21st with booth assignments.
Booth space and logistics:
Booth space: 10x10
Setup and teardown times: Set up at 1pm, Event starts at 3pm - ends at 8pm, teardown until 9pm
Where to unload/load and park: Loading/unloading from Burnham St. on the park side. Vendor parking at B+B Printing.

Will there be staff to assist with setup issues: please contact us with any issues.
In case of weather or emergencies: we may cancel the event with email for updates
Guidance/restrictions on power source, tables, chairs, tent, etc.: Vendors are responsible for their own generators/method of electricity, park electricity is limited. Vendors are responsible for their own set up and materials including tents, tables, chairs, equipment, signs etc.
Permits, Insurance & Compliance
Need general liability insurance: Jeffrey Allen Gallery is partnering with Tigard Downtown Alliance to help cover general insurance for Universal Plaza venue.
The Responsibility Split: The Tigard Downtown Alliance, in partnership with Jeffrey Allen, is responsible for the overall venue and event logistics (e.g., a trip hazard in a common walkway), while each vendor is responsible for anything that happens within your designated area or as a result of your products.
Certificate of Insurance (COI): This is a standard one-page summary provided by your insurer that acts as proof of coverage. You may need to submit this before the event begins.
Additional Insured Endorsement: Please name “Tigard Downtown Alliance” as an "Additional Insured" on your policy. This means if someone is injured by your booth and sues both you and the host, your insurance covers the host's legal defense as well.
Need temporary business license for folks outside of Tigard: please visit the City site to register your business for a temporary business license - it will take up to 5-7 days to process.
Need food handler cards: All vendors selling or sampling unpackaged food must have a copy of a valid Food Handlers Card for at least one person who will be on-site at all times during the event.
Operational
Are there handwashing stations or at least water sources: yes on site there is a wash station w/ public restrooms.
Are there restrictions on what can be sold: NO alcohol
Are there price caps or affordability guidelines: the audience for this celebration is community, emphasis on youth - accessibility
Are open flames or cooking allowed (and what permit-s are needed): Yes, please let us know if you will have open flame/cooking so that we know where to safely place you. 10x10 spaces and set up are at the discretion of the vendor. This is an outdoor venue.
Safety or fire regulations must be followed: the local police department and fire department are informed of this event - please visit this link for more park guidelines
Are there noise or generator restrictions: Tigard's noise ordinance restricts noise based on time and location, with a 40 dB limit inside residential property between 10 PM and 7 AM, and 50 dB from 7 AM to 10 PM. Public spaces have a 100-foot audibility limit, and the code prohibits specific noises like exhaust brakes, sirens, and loud, repetitive sounds.
